Emily and Johnny’s Wedding Sneak Peek

Wow, its been quite a while since I’ve written on the RAD Studio Blog. When Ral asked me to write about Emily and Johnny’s wedding, I couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity to. This wedding was incredible. It was a celebration of relationships that were richly marinated in the certainty of quality time and lots and lots of love! This was a wedding where we just knew that everything was going to look amazing but our focus was really on the connections within both Emily’s and Johnny’s families as a whole. I just have to say, we learned a lot from this wedding day. Ral and I have different eyes than those of the years past because of having our little gal, Micah. Being a parent has really broadened our outlook on family and has given us the opportunity to really appreciate these relationships daily as we observe them through our craft. On this day, we watched people come together not only to celebrate this amazing couple but to celebrate how far they have come as a family (these really are some of the most friendliest people we’ve met on the job!). It was a tremendous occasion and we felt so honoured to observed and photograph such a bright and heart warming event. Loved it!!!

Princess Barbie, Chef Barbie, Fashion Model Barbie, Mommy Barbie… Emily.  She’s that genius all in one Barbie – and extremely limited addition. (Off tangent: I actually looked up a list of Barbie’s professions, my is she well rounded! “Rap Musician Barbie”, “Dog Sitter Barbie”, “Fashion Magazing Intern Barbie” “Kid Doctor, Baby Doctor, New Born Baby Doctor and Puppy Doctor Barbie” and the best one, “Sign Language Teacher Barbie” Anywho! -…) In that gorgeous blonde head of hers, she planned a very beautifully meticulous, detailed and very memorable wedding. You may be WOWed by how beautiful she is but just wait until you get the chance to get to know her – its truly a pleasure. She’s sweet, very kind hearted and thoughtful. She is a mother of two wonderful girls and does a darn good job! Emily, if you’re reading this – we think you’re pretty cool

And then there is Johnny or “Chip” (short for this last name) and he to me is like Ral’s brother from another mother! He is seriously nicest guy. Every single word uttered from a person’s mouth talked about how genuinely blessed they were to be loved by him. Words and phrases like “generous”, “hard working”, “big heart”, “he would give the shirt off his own back” and among that “even better father” – these were discussed joyfully in depth. I love meeting grooms like this, we’ve had the blessed opportunity to work with quite a few. Johnny, we have to say we both were so moved when people were talking about you. We see those things and you really seem to quietly do your thing but your example is superlatively admirable. It wasn’t just Emily who upheld you, it was really everyone else too. That says a lot about a man, my friend.Oh and I just have to add, Ral’s favorite words were, “Smash Brothers”, “Nintendo” and “Zelda” hahaha – brother from another mother! I watched Ral light up as these things came to light!!

The amount of love and support around these two really showed a great deal about their character. It is our delight to share our work as we present this new couple to you.

Emily and Johnny, you experienced an wedding day to marvel at because of all of those amazing years you’ve spent strengthening your relationship. We know you’ll quietly go back to your day to day doing your thing but we notice you and respect and looove the fact that you both strive to do life well. Congratulations!! Folks, this is a couple to watch!
