On this beautiful day I witnessed so many things. Bo in a nutshell is the guy you always want in your proverbial corner. He is someone you want to have vouch for you, and someone that you can always count on when you are in need. As the day unfolded, I was so lucky to experience first hand his intimate, loving, caring, revealing, passionate, sometimes explicit, always endearing, and wholesome relationship with his… groomsmen. Yawp. That’s right. Groomsmen. But his passionate bromance didn’t limited to his groomsmen but to his ‘boys’. There is always something amazing when you are able to continue to have a thriving relationship with your main group of friends from high school, man of which were in attendance!
But enough of Bo’s longstanding bromance and on to his now forever found romance, Kim. She was more beautiful than chipper, which says a lot because she was smiling ALL DAY LONG. No joke, from the first shot to the first dance, Kim knew how to soak in the great day around her. Or maybe she was just receiving the wedding good vibes she was giving off
From the minute we walked through the brides door in the morning until we left the doors of the Vancouver Convention Centre where they held their reception, the day went by so fast. It was also helped by the fact that the speeches were amazing. Not just one or two – All of them!
Also, in the 5 years we have been shooting, never have we had such an outpouring of emotion from the groomsmen to the groom. Yes we’ve seen the obvious emotional combinations, father to bride, older sister to groom, even the always awesome older brother to bride – but I loved this weddings’ groomsmen to groom. Have you seen the movie, “I love you man”? – True Bromance at it’s finest.
